Land Acknowledgement
River of Pride acknowledges that the Pride Festival takes place in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded
territory of the Mi'kmaq People. We recognize and honour the Mi'kmaq as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land. This territory is governed by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship, which did not involve the surrender of land but established ongoing nation-to-nation relationships.
Who we are
River of Pride / Rivière de la Fierté is a 100% volunteer-led, community-based non-profit organization that has organized Pride celebrations in Southeast New Brunswick for over 25 years.
River of Pride delivers New Brunswick’s oldest and largest 2SLGBTQIA+ festival, offering more than 25 free and low-cost public events annually and engaging thousands of participants across Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Shediac, and surrounding communities.

COMMUNITY
Les événements communautaires sont au cœur de Rivière de la Fierté, offrant des plateformes dynamiques de connexion, de célébration et d'autonomisation. Grâce à des rassemblements colorés et inclusifs comme le défilé annuel de la fierté, nous commémorons les progrès du mouvement pour les droits 2ELGBTQIA+ tout en promouvant la visibilité et l'esprit communautaire. Ces événements sont essentiels pour renforcer notre engagement à créer un environnement solidaire et inclusif, offrant un espace sûr d'expression, de joie et d'unité entre tous les membres de la communauté 2ELGBTQIA+.
SUPPORT
Soutenir notre communauté, c’est lui fournir les outils dont elle a besoin pour s’épanouir. Nous les mettons en relation avec des ressources et un soutien pour les personnes confrontées à la discrimination, aux disparités en matière de santé ou à l'isolement social. Nous visons à responsabiliser les membres de la communauté et à leur fournir une plateforme pour partager leurs expériences et leurs défis.
